Let's head out for the beach or the mountains!!"Seishun「青春」Vol 2: School's Out!! is a new and upcoming fanzine for WIND BREAKER by Satoru Nii, and this time we're all about the seasonal activities and holiday celebrations during school vacations!!! It will be released in late-2025 as a digital-only, free-to-download PDF with the possibility of digital merch.

General Application Guidelines
• Applicants must be at 18+ by the time contributor applications end.• You can apply for more than one role, but please note that you will only be selected for one of them!• Applicants may not submit work of any kind that involves generative-AI.• All samples must not be rated higher than Teen (PG-16) as this project is strictly SFW.• Make sure to tag your samples with the appropriate trigger and content warnings!• WB pieces are not mandatory, but it's highly encouraged!Artist
Provide THREE (3) of your best individual samples via links. You may provide a portfolio of your work. This can also be a social media link (i.e. Instagram, Twitter).Writer
You may apply as a fic writer (1.5-2.5k words), epistolary writer (750-1.5k words), and/or poet (up to 250 words). For each type, you must submit three (3) samples that best reflect that type.Merch & Alt Artist
You may apply for merch artist and/or alt artist. Alt art include music, cosplay, recipes, and more! Surprise us! Contributor Guidelines
• All content submitted for the zine must be brand new and created for the zine. Re-used content and content already published elsewhere will not be accepted.• Works submitted must be canon-compliant/general. We will not be featuring AUs, ships, or crossovers, but canon-divergence may be accepted on a case-by-case basis.• PG-16 at most! Canon-level depictions of violence and darker themes are permitted.• Contributors may not submit work of any kind that involves generative-AI.-

MERCH/ALT: templates will be providedWe plan to accept around 50* contributors, across artists, merch artists, writers, and alternative content creators (e.g. cosplayers, chefs, etc.). The exact number and distribution of creators will depend on our interest check results and contributor applications.
*This number is subject to change.Upon acceptance, contributors will have to pitch several ideas to the mod team. Approved ideas will be the ones which contributors can move forward with. There will be regular progress check-ins each month, to ensure that contributors are on track to complete their piece(s) by the end of the creation period!!

What’s a fanzine?
A fanzine is an unofficial collection of fan works (such as fanart and fanfiction) based on a preexisting work.Do you need prior zine experience to apply?
No, zine experience is not necessary and will not affect your application.Is there a specific age limit for potential participants?

Yes! Applicants can indicate in the application form if they would like to be a pinch hitter for the zine. Pinch hitters are creators who may be called in if there is a creator who drops out from the project during the creation period.Do all characters need to be included in the piece? Or can we focus on one/two characters only?
There is absolutely no need to depict every character in your piece! Artists, writers, and alternate creators are welcome to depict many characters or just one.Is it okay to create works about or including characters other than Bofurin members?

Absolutely!!
